Bisazza North America buys Design District property for $3 million

Bisazza North America bought 3740 North East 2nd Avenue, an industrial space in Miami’s Design District, for $3 million, according to a statement from the brokers who handled the sale today. The price works out to about $600 per square foot.

Tony Cho and Tony Arellano of Miami-based commercial real estate firm Metro 1 Commercial arranged the sale, the statement said.

Bisazza produces glass mosaic for exterior and interior decoration. In addition to the brand’s Miami location, Bisazza also has showrooms in New York, Chicago, Los Angeles and other locations worldwide.

Just up the street from the recently sold building, Metro 1 is selling the 13,102-square foot Power Studios property at 3711 North East 2nd Avenue for $8.2 million. At a price of about $626 per square foot, the building is available for redevelopment, retail or hospitality. The company is also leasing multiple properties in the Design District, the statement said. — Evan Bleier
