A section of a resort villa in central Florida collapsed in a sinkhole Monday, the AP reported.

The Summer Bay resort had already been evacuated and there are no known injuries. The sinkhole had stretched 40 to 50 feet wide by Monday, according to the wire service.

Witnesses staying in the 24-unit villa 10 miles west of Disney World told the AP they heard popping sounds and breaking windows late Sunday.

The sinkhole comes five months after one elsewhere in Florida swallowed a man in his bed. His body was never recovered.
