Former U.S. Representative and Tea Party favorite Allen West is battling his Broward County homeowners association, who filed a lawsuit in July to have his house sold on the courthouse steps.

The Fox News contributor has a shoddy history in paying maintenance fees, according to four liens filed by the Fountain Spring Homeowners Association in the last two years, Gossip Extra reported, citing public records.

West, who bought in the gated community in 2004 for $270,000, did not return the website’s calls for comment.
