A condominium tower known as the Edge on Brickell is planned for a 13,000-square-foot site of the defunct seafood restaurant Big Fish in Miami.

The developer, The Edge on Brickell LLC, has entered contract to buy the land at 55 Southwest Miami Avenue on the Miami River. The 55-story, 604-foot-tall building would hold 130 condo units, a 156-space parking garage and a restaurant. Luis Revuelta, a principal partner of Revuelta Architecture International, has been tapped as architect of record for the tower. Revuelta is also designing the conversion of the former Carib Theater on Lincoln Road into a multi-level retail space.
