International freight forwarding company Krystal Logistics is set to nearly double the size of its industrial occupancy at Flagler Station in Medley.

Krystal signed a 78,000-square-foot lease at the future Building 36 in the business park, according to Monday’s written announcement from CBRE, which represented the tenant. The company is currently in a 46,000-square-foot facility at Flagler Station. It is scheduled to move to a new distribution facility under construction at Northwest 91st Street and 117th Avenue during the fourth quarter of 2014.

CBRE brokers David Albert, Devin White and Andrew Lehrer represented Krystal. Flagler’s Chris Sutton represented the landlord.

“With several new Class A projects under construction between Doral and Medley, there is fierce competition amongst the developers for larger tenants, defined as those that are greater than 50,000 square feet,” White said. — Eric Kalis
