Got questions or opinions to share with frequent The Real Deal contributor Peter Zalewski? The Condo Vultures and CraneSpotters.com founder will start writing a Friday column, in addition to his Tuesday column on South Florida’s preconstruction market, with the first edition slated to run on June 13. 

In this column, Zalewski will answer any questions readers have about the latest condo boom or any subjects related to the South Florida real estate market. Please also send your opinions on the biggest issues and trends in the region.

    I own a condominium unit in a conversion building on the east side of Manhattan. There are many amendments to the offering plan where one would also find the By-Laws to the condo. There is one amendment that changes the sponsor’s financial responsibility to the condo which is spelled out in these By-Laws. If an amendment supersedes the offering plan doesn’t it also stand to reason that it would also supersede the By-Laws?
