Two residential projects and an aviation facility are seeking approval from the Broward County Commission tomorrow.

Boca Raton-based Altman Development Corp. wants to build a 280-unit apartment complex at an 8-acre lot near the Shops at Pembroke Pines, according to the South Florida Business Journal. The land is currently designated commercial.

An Aventura-based company has plans to build 68 townhomes called Chelsea Place on a mostly vacant 7.4 acre plot in Tamarac.

Finally, fixed-base operator Azorra Aviation is reportedly requesting to expand its lease at Fort Lauderdale-Hollywood International Airport. The company has plans to triple its acreage at the airport. Fixed-base operators provide aeronautical services such as fueling and hangaring. [South Florida Business Journal] – Katherine Kallergis
