Coconut Creek shopping center sells for $20M

A Coral Gables-based company bought a shopping center in Coconut Creek for nearly $20 million.

Boca Raton-based Chianti Associates sold the six-acre site at 4690 State Road 7 on Feb. 11, Broward County records show.

Tenants of the 53,709-square-foot building include a Sears Home Appliance Showroom, Cow Licks Kids Salon and Pasquale’s Pizza Co. The Village Shoppes at Coconut Creek was built in 2009, and the site last traded for $6.9 million in a February 2007 bundle sale, according to property records.

Ronny Alcalay is listed as a manager of Chianti Associates. Real estate attorney Alex D. Sirulnik is listed on the seller’s corporate filing.

Down the road, Altman Companies sold a 15-acre Coconut Creek apartment complex for $61.8 million in January to an affiliate of Farmers Insurance company.
