Mercy Hospital closes on $20M in financing

Mercy Hospital has closed on a $20 million construction loan, according to Miami-Dade County records. 

Miami Mercy Medical Center Development was the borrower. The LLC is tied to Onicx Construction, the Tampa-based general contractor that is building the medical office building in Coconut Grove.

Renovations for Mercy Hospital, at 3663 South Miami Avenue, include the main lobby, all patient floors, labor and delivery suites, gift shop, cafeteria, window replacement, a new intensive care unit and a new generator building, according to the hospital’s website. Mercy Hospital, with 473 beds, is owned by HCA.

Centennial Bank is the lender, according to county records. Onicx president Dhvanit A. Patel signed the loan.
