The Real Deal is heading into Day 2 of our second U.S. Real Estate Showcase and Forum at the Jing An Shangri-La in Shanghai, which will kick off with a keynote address by former New York Gov. George Pataki at 11:30 a.m. Doors open at 10:30 a.m.

Following Pataki’s speech will be the Global Asset Allocation panel at 11:40 a.m., examining why the U.S. is a preferred destination and comparing returns at home versus abroad; lunch at 12:30 p.m.; a discussion on EB-5 & U.S. Immigration (what to expect from the process and a look at current/upcoming projects) at 1 p.m.; our workshop on buying and maintaining U.S. properties at 2:30 p.m, followed by a presentation by Magic Development at 3:20 p.m.; and a panel covering opportunities for development (an analysis of the state of the market and the frameworks for joint ventures with U.S. partners) at 4 p.m.
