Outlook Forum bullish on SF office market

Speakers at a Real Estate Outlook Forum held in Coral Gables yesterday
were bullish on South Florida’s office market, pointing out that, with
a GDP of $200 billion, the region has the 46th largest economy in the
world. Coral Gables itself has a 5 percent Class A office vacancy, and
average asking rents above $40 per square foot, one speaker said,
compared to Miami-Dade’s average of between $37 and $38 per square foot.
