Zyscovich Architects has been selected to work on the
multimillion-dollar mixed-use project, City Center, to be developed in
Pembroke Pines. The 164-acre project, which is planned for Pines
Boulevard between S. Hiatus Road and S. Palm Avenue, has been stalled
for several years, while Hollywood city commissioners cannot agree on a
vision for the project. Zyscovich is expected to help the plans move
forward; the firm will work with commissioners, but will be paid by
private developer Retail Property Group, who has offered to purchase
the commercial component of the project.
