Pollo Tropical sells for $2.02 million
Pollo Tropical, a 3,285-square-foot single-tenant property at 19700 NW 27th Avenue in Miami Gardens, has sold for $2.02 million, according to Marcus & Millichap. Glen Kunofsky, senior vice president of investments and senior director of the firm’s national retail group in Manhattan, represented the seller. Kunofsky and Judson Kauffman, an investment specialist for Marcus & Millichap, represented the buyers. Both parties were private investors. The property was built in 2007 on a 30,000-square-foot lot.

Tyler Harrison joins CB Richard Ellis
Tyler Harrison recently joined CB Richard Ellis’ brokerage service group as an associate in Palm Beach County. Harrison will focus on office property. He worked at CBRE in Fort Lauderdale from 2003 to 2008 and then worked at an investment and acquisition firm in the San Francisco Bay Area.

Miami-based company hopes to snap up South Florida real estate
Miami-based New Valley, a subsidiary of publically-traded Vector Group, announced this week that it has $250 million in cash available for investment and plans to put some of it toward South Florida real estate. New Valley has a 50 percent ownership interest in Douglas Elliman Realty, the largest residential brokerage company in the New York metropolitan area, and stakes in hotel, condominium and commercial properties.
