How Miami is reinventing itself

From a downtown back from the dead to an energized Wynwood area, Miami
is reinventing itself with new hotels and restaurants. Even South Beach
is getting in the act with upgrades. Two new hotels are helping downtown
— the Tempo Miami, a RockResort, and the two-year-old Epic Hotel, with
new restaurants like Zuma, a Japanese tapas restaurant in the Epic.
Wynwood, which has received attention for substantial holdings by South
Beach pioneer Tony Goldman, is also growing, with new eateries like
Wywnood Kitchen & Bar. Goldman says that what’s great about Miami is
“each neighborhood has its own personality. It’s like a great quilt.
None of the pieces have to match.” [USA
