Peter Andolina, founder of Andolina Real Estate, has been named executive director of M1 Sales and Development Sites Group, a division of brokerage and investment firm Metro 1 Properties, the company announced today.
At Andolina Real Estate, Andolina, a Buffalo, N.Y. native, focused on properties in the Biscayne corridor north of downtown. Before founding his own firm, he partnered with commercial real estate specialist Edie Laquer to broker significant land sale deals in Coconut Grove, Brickell and downtown Miami.
He has worked on more than $300 million in transactions, Metro said in a statement, including land deals for projects such as the Quantum, Paramount Bay, New Wave, Bay Lofts and Yorker in Miami. He also brokered the 2004 sale of the 54-acre FEC Railroad yards to developers of the Midtown Miami.
Early in his career, Andolina was an attorney for the Miami Downtown Development Authority.
“Peter is the ideal professional to head our newly launched Metro 1 Land and Development Sites Group,” said Tony Cho, president and CEO of Metro 1 Properties. “Peter has brokered more than 4.6 million square feet of development sites, and his knowledge of the market, of zoning and of other relevant issues is unsurpassed.” TRD
