The total dollar volume of condominium and co-op sales in Palm Beach rose by $20.1 million in October compared to the same month in 2011, according to a report from attorney and real estate analyst Leslie Robert Evans. There was a total of $24.7 million in condo and co-op sales in October, up from $4.59 million in October 2011. Single-family sales saw a $6.95 million jump in total dollar volume in the same period. “October 2012 showed a marked increase in the number of sales, median price and average price of single-family homes,” Evans said in a statement. “The number of sales of single-family homes in the last four [4] months equaled or bettered the number of sales during the same period in 2011, a positive trend.” — Alexander Britell
