Several of the condo hotel units in the Brazilian Court Hotel & Beach Club in Palm Beach — where David Kennedy, son of Robert F. Kennedy, died of an overdose in 1984 – are in foreclosure, the South Florida Business Journal reported. The luxury building, which boasts that it is the “ultimate Florida vacation destination for the rich and famous,” could not sell its remaining 35 units.

It also touts that it made the 2012 Conde Nast Traveler Gold List. However, its owner, an affiliate of West Palm Beach-based Ceebraid Signal Corp., couldn’t sell out the remaining 35 units. Now MUNB Loan Holdings has filed a foreclosure lawsuit against CSC Brazilian and BC 201 LLC, along with managing members Adam Schlesinger, Richard Schlesinger, Jason Schlesinger and Robert Schlesinger, according to the Journal.

The foreclosure targets the 35 of the building’s 59 condo hotel units plus 4,671 square feet of office space.  The loan was last modified at $19 million in exactly one year ago. [SFBJ] –Christopher Cameron
