Designer Tommy Hilfiger is looking to “bring back the grandeur” of The Raleigh, a Miami beach hotel he bought earlier this year for $56 million, according to a published report.

Hilfiger is planning to turn the 1940 Art Deco building into a high-end hotel and a private members club.

Hilfiger told Page Six that he wants an extensive renovation but plans to “preserve the treasures of the hotel while turning it into a timeless and exclusive escape.”

The hotel has more than 80 rooms, several restaurants and a spa — along with a soon-to-be-built nightclub that will feature performances arranged by music impresario Tommy Mottola, according to the report.

Hilfiger also plan to expand The Raleigh brand internationally. [Page Six] — William J. Gorta
