Macken Companies, a fully integrated developer in South Florida, has announced plans to build four homes on a barrier island in Fort Lauderdale.

The project, dubbed “Beach House,” will be situated in the Dolphin Isles neighborhood. The community will consist of four two-story homes on Northeast 32nd Avenue and Northeast 26th Street.

Each home will have four bedrooms, a two-car garage, a second-floor terrace, Bosh appliances and a private pool. They will also be wired for smart home technology and have impact resistant windows and doors, according to a release. Stofft Architects designed the estates, and Marc-Michaels handled interior design.

The city of Fort Lauderdale has approved the zero lot line project, and sales will begin in early spring with prices starting at $1.1 million, according to a release.

The project will be built by VCM Builders, listed by Macken Realty and financed by G&A Strategic. All three are affiliates of Macken Companies, the firm said.

“There is strong demand for this type of project,” Macken founder Alan Macken said in a statement. “We have a strong presence in the area and a keen understanding of the type and style of product that should be delivered.  We are confident that Beach House will serve to enhance the community and appreciate the support from The City of Fort Lauderdale and its residents.” — Sean Stewart-Muniz
