The week in luxury: A map of Miami-Dade’s priciest condo sales

Luxury condo sales are sluggish in Miami-Dade County as April comes to a close, with one third of last week’s most expensive sales falling below $1 million.

The week’s priciest sale was a condo at Acqualina in Sunny Isles. Unit 2506 spent roughly three months on the market before it was snapped up for $3.9 million, or $1,425 per square foot. Michelle Judd of TRG Beach Club Realty had the listing.

After Judd’s sale, unit prices on the list dropped significantly — the next two decreased in million-dollar increments — and the majority of the condos were sold for around $500 per square foot.

Across the county, condo sales totaled $53.3 million — a $25.5 million decrease from the previous week — from 157 units. Though there was a massive drop in the total dollar amount, last week saw only five fewer condo traded from the week before. This is explained by the average price, $339,546 — more than $100,000 less than the previous week.
