A Brazilian activewear company riding the international fitness craze is opening its first shop in the United States in Miami Beach, adding to the roster of new stores on Lincoln Road, The Real Deal has learned.

Brazil-based brand Live! has signed a one-year lease for a 1,250-square-foot pop-up shop at 723 Lincoln Road, Terranova Corp. told TRD. Terranova’s executive vice president Mindy McIlroy represented the landlord in the deal. Donald Shapiro of Real Estate Sales Force represented Live!

Live! currently operates eight stores in Brazil, and plans to further expand in Florida and California.

“Within the U.S., we searched for an upscale, fashion oriented, trendy location,” founder and CEO Gabriel Sens said in a statement. “Lincoln Road was in fact a perfect fit.”

A health kick driven by millennials has led to a growing fitness market in Miami Beach, shared by boutique exercise outlets like Green Monkey, Flywheel and Exhale, and larger fitness centers including Crunch, Equinox and Anatomy at 1220.
