The Galleria at Fort Lauderdale is undergoing improvements, adding Free People and REM French Riviera stores, transforming its food court and relocating and renovating several existing retailers, the Broward mall announced Monday.

Free People will open next to Michael Kors late this month, marking the store’s first entrance in the Broward-Palm Beach market. And REM French Riviera, a first-in-market store offering women’s jewelry, semi-precious stones, pearls, sterling silver, vermeil, crystals, rhinestones and perfumes from France, recently opened next to Neiman Marcus. JLL handles leasing for the mall, at 2414 East Sunrise Boulevard.

Galleria‘s transformed food court, renamed Palm Court Market, will reopen on November 1 with new casual eateries, the mall said.
