Dadeland Mall, 50 percent owned by Simon Property Group, is anchored Macy’s, Macy’s Home Gallery & Kids, Saks Fifth Avenue, JCPenney, and Nordstrom.  Overall, the mall spans more than 1.4 million square feet and features more than 185 retail stores and restaurants.

In June, Dadeland announced it would revamp its food court. The multimillion-dollar renovation will span 19,298 square feet and include additions such as new vertical louvers, light fixtures on an existing rotunda, a skylight, and new furnishings.

The mall also recently underwent a major expansion, adding a Fashion Wing with 102,000 square feet of revamped retail space housing Porsche Design, BOSS Hugo Boss, Tommy Bahama, Microsoft, Tesla, and Urban Outfitters, among other retailers. The wing is also home to restaurants including Aroma Espresso Bar, Bobby’s Burger Palace, Aoki Teppanyaki, Balans, Earls Kitchen + Bar and Texas de Brazil, which each have indoor or outdoor patio seating.

In addition to Dadeland, other South Florida malls are also attracting new retailers as the holiday season approaches. On Monday, the Galleria at Fort Lauderdale announced a makeover, including adding Free People and REM French Riviera, transforming its food court and relocating and renovating several existing stores.

Dolphin Mall in Sweetwater is also adding new restaurants BRIO Tuscan Grille and Kona Grill, renovating its outdoor Ramblas Plaza and opening a new parking deck with 1,282 parking spaces.
