Singer Ricky Martin has sold his Miami Beach home for $10.6 million to an undisclosed buyer, the Miami Herald reported.The property, which is located at 5130 North Bay Road, has 10,000 square feet. North Bay Road is the home to many Miami celebrities, including two members of the Miami Heat: Dwyane Wade and Chris Bosh. Miami Heat star Dwyane Wade has settled on a $10.65 million Miami Beach home with more than 150 feet of bay frontage and a tennis court that he plans to turn into a basketball court, after months of speculation about his and his new teammates’ South Florida real estate searches. His broker, Gloria Salom of Beachfront Realty, called Wade’s house hunt of at least 50 coastal homes “a project-and-a-half,” but even after the exhaustive search, Wade went into contract on the six-bedroom property, which is just blocks away from Chris Bosh’s new house, sight-unseen. Less than 30 days after the Miami Heat signed all-stars LeBron James,
Dwyane Wade and Chris Bosh, an investor has purchased three contiguous
retail condos in Marina Blue, which is just across the street from the
American Airlines Arena. Sunny Isles Beach investor Sergey Novov paid
$2.1 million for 5,100 square feet of ground-floor retail space,
according to the latest report from Condo Vultures. Industry watchers
said the space likely will become a restaurant and bar, with possibly a

Wade also looking for a new home, realtors are fighting like mad to be
picked to help them find their new digs. James is still
looking for a house, contrary to previous reports. “The realtors, some of them are
desperately throwing themselves at these [athletes],” said Hazel
Goldman, who recently sold Wade’s home in Pinecrest. “They’re trying to
show that they’re the ones that have the ‘in’ and know the market and

Miami Heat star Dwyane Wade missed the mark when he sold his 9,000-square-foot Pinecrest mansion last week at a $1.5 million loss, according to research firm and brokerage Condo Vultures. The basketball star bought the nine-bedroom spread with wife Siohvaughn Wade at the height of the housing market, paying $3.98 million, or $440 per square foot, in August 2005. The couple is now reportedly going through a divorce. Last week the home, on Southwest 59th Place, sold for just $2.5 million, or $277 per square foot. Wade’s home was originally listed for $8.9 million in March 2007 and has a long history of price reductions. The price was first slashed to $6 million in August 2007, then to $4.99 million the following April. It was taken off the market in January 2009 and relisted in May 2009 at $3.3 million.
