    A Fort Lauderdale-based investor has sold three properties in Broward County, according to Gregory Matus, regional manager/vice president at the firm’s Fort Lauderdale office.   • Caravelle North sells for $1.2M

    The Caravelle North Apartments, a 16-unit apartment building in Fort Lauderdale, has been sold for $1.2 million, according to Marcus & Millichap. The firm’s Joseph Thomas represented the seller, a private investor from Palm Beach Shores, along with the buyer, who was a private investor from Hollywood. “Caravelle North is a stabilized apartment building with minimal deferred maintenance in a strong Fort Lauderdale rental market,” Thomas said. “The units are all large two bedrooms with two bathrooms and should continue to stay in high demand.” TRD [more]

  • Holly Heights Apartments, a one-story, 32-unit property in Fort Lauderdale, has been sold for $1.6 million, about $51,400 per unit. The complex was built in 1969 and sits on a 1.46-acre plot of land. Associate Joseph P. Thomas and Senior Associate Felipe J. Echarte of Marcus & Millichap’s Fort Lauderdale office represented the sellers of the property, private investors from New York and Boca Raton.
