    Palm Beach broker associate Paulette Koch of The Corcoran Group was the top-ranked Florida agent with $233 million of sales volume last year, according to an annual survey published by the Wall Street Journal and REAL Trends, a residential real estate publishing company.

    According to the survey, Koch ranked 21st nationwide in 2014 sales volume. Her average sale price last year was $5.5 million. She has been a Palm Beach residential real estate agent for more than 25 years and works with her son Dana Koch, who is also an agent of Corcoran, [more]

    Philanthropist Henry Kravis has purchased a lot at 324 Cherry Lane in Palm Beach for $9.2 million, according to the Palm Beach Daily News. Kravis bought the nearly 30,000-square-foot lot, which is south of his property on North Lake Way, through a limited liability company. “It’s a gorgeous piece, about 30,000 square feet and very high — that’s what the attraction is,” said Corcoran’s Paulette Koch, who handled both sides of the deal with her son, Dana Koch.     A lakefront home at 210 Via Del Mar in Palm Beach has been sold for approximately $9.64 million, according to a deed filed with the Palm Beach County Clerk’s office. The sellers were Leo Vecellio Jr. and wife Kathryn, represented by Paulette and Dana Koch of Corcoran Palm Beach. Agent K.C. Pickett of Barrett Welles Property Group represented the buyer, an unnamed couple who also own a home in the Northeast. The 11,094-square-foot home was originally listed for $11.5 million.   • A Palm Beach estate was sold Dec. 23 for $9.3 million, setting a festive holiday tone for a slowly resurgent luxury market. The 12,000-square-foot, three-story, five-bedroom house at 115 Via La Selva belonged to Edward Falcone and was purchased by Edward and Selaine Niedel. Real estate agents Rosalind Clarke and Laura Coyner of the Corcoran Group Palm Beach listed the property for $9.95 million, and it spent only 77 days on the market. Paulette Koch and Dana Koch, also of the Corcoran Group, represented the buyer.

    It was the highest sale price for a so-called dry lot property — one that doesn’t have waterfront land — this year, Paulette Koch said. The house, built for Warner Jones in 1928 at a cost of $55,000, was for several decades the home of Winifred Dodge Seyburn, daughter of auto pioneer John Dodge. Sources told the Palm Beach Daily News that the sale was the county’s largest on record in 2009. The nine-bedroom house, located at 1200 S. Ocean Boulevard and designed by Palm Beach’s best known architect, Addison Minzer, was purchased by Los Angeles real estate developer and billionaire Jeffrey Greene. First Allied Jacksonville, a Rochester, N.Y.-based holding company owned by Palm Beach resident Malcolm Glazer, a billionaire sports team owner, sold the 12,000-square foot estate, which encompasses 3.8 acres.
