    Brokers, developers, architects and other industry professionals are gearing up for The Real Deal‘s second annual South Florida real estate forum and showcase, taking place on Thursday at The Moore Building in Miami’s Design District.

    Attendees will enjoy three panel discussions featuring some of real estate’s major players from Florida and New York’s and nearly 40 vendors booths, showcasing the latest development projects and services in South Florida.

    This year’s show will also feature some changes designed to improve logistics for all attendees. Hallways at the showcase have been widened for better access and traffic flow. And, a new parking structure next to the Moore Building, plus double the number of parking attendants, will make for an efficient parking process.

    South Florida Market Report covers the real estate industry in Miami and points south, with in-depth reporting on both the residential and the commercial sectors of the market.

    Published twice yearly, the upcoming October issue proves once again how vibrant the South Florida real estate scene is.   • Steinberg, Heiberger join panel at TRD’s SoFla showcase

    Leonard Steinberg, president of Compass, and Andrew Heiberger, co-founder and co-chairman of Town Residential, have confirmed their participation on the “New to Miami” panel at The Real Deal’s Oct. 15 showcase in Miami.

    The panel will also include Peter Fine, president of To Better Days Development, and Ryan Serhant, broker at Nest Seekers International and star of Bravo’s “Million Dollar Listing New York.”

    The four New York-based participants on the panel have all recently launched businesses or major projects in South Florida. The panel will look look at what the out-of-towners bring to the South Florida market and discuss their plans and outlook for the region.

    The show, which attracts the top developers and brokers in South Florida, will also feature a “Miami development” panel, a “Battle of the neighborhoods” panel, shorter discussion sessions and a showcase of more than 30 sponsor developments.

  • U.S. market overview panel set for TRD’s Shanghai showcase

    The roster of participants in the “U.S. real estate market overview” panel at TRD’s September showcase in China includes an outstanding lineup of real estate luminaries from across the country.

    Mark Chu of Eastdil Secured, Andrew Farkas of Island Capital, Sean Mei of Partners Trust China, Dan Kodsi of Royal Palm Companies, Stephen Owens of Swire Properties and Greg Peng of Cindat have confirmed their participation on the panel.

    The panel will provide attendees with an overview of the U.S. market as a whole, then focus on the American cities that proffer the best investment opportunities.
