    Michael Jordan paid $4.8 million for a pair of tracts in golfer Jack Nicklaus’ Bear Club community in Jupiter in 2008, and the home he’s building on the land is nearly ready, according to Realtors Jeff and Cary Lichtenstein.     Celebrity spies and Florida real estate watchers have been on red alert since it was first reported last week that Tiger’s ex, Elin Nordegren, was demolishing the $12.2 million North Palm Beach mansion she bought last March. Most recently, she’s donated material from the tear down and planned an identical replacement.

    WPTV reported that the home was officially torn down last week and that Nordegren donated an estimated $300,00 worth of of appliances, furniture and other household items to the Habitat for Humanity of Martin County. [more]

    Tiger Woods’ ex-wife, Elen Nordegren, has demolished the $12.2 million North Palm Beach mansion she bought last March, shortly after finalizing a $100 million divorce settlement with the golfer. According to TMZ, she plans to rebuild a bigger, better house on the plot, at 12520 Seminole Beach Road.

    Earlier reports suggested she would live in the six-bedroom, eight-bathroom, 17,718-square-foot home with the two children she conceived with Woods. But TMZ reported that she hired a high-priced architect to build something new on the plot while she temporary takes up residence in a nearby mansion. [TMZ]
