AptsandLofts.com is a large real estate brokerage specializing in sales and leasing in Brooklyn and Queens. As such, the brokerage has become synonymous with deals in up-and-coming neighborhoods for those pushing the boundaries of gentrification further from Manhattan, including enclaves such as Midwood and Bedford-Stuyvesant. The firm has worked on newer developments such as Gantry Park Landing in Long Island City, the Bergen in Park Slope, the Greystone in Midwood and 50 North 5th in Williamsburg. AptsandLofts.com also markets smaller retail and office spaces in Brooklyn and Queens. And, as the brokerage’s name suggests, it was a pioneer in web-based real estate hunts in New York City. In 2012, the firm tapped Chris Havens to lead a new commercial division. David Maundrell, company president, founded AptsandLofts.com in late 2002 out of a small shop in Williamsburg. In 2015, the firm was acquired by Citi Habitats.
