David Schechtman

David Schechtman, Esq., is an attorney, commercial broker, and former executive managing director at Eastern Consolidated, having moved to Meridian Capital in April of 2015. He primarily represents clients in commercial litigation, bankruptcy, and settlement cases, in addition to representing sellers in condominium transactions. At Eastern Consolidated, he also headed the LoanSales and Turnaround Services Group, focusing on the sale of assets in connection with financial distress and restructuring.

Major deals for Schechtman include seller representation on a $215 million deal at the 1.25 million-square-foot 344-352 West Street and a $42 million sale at 537-345 West 27th Street. He has participated in over $4 billion in real estate transactions.

Schechtman is a member of the Real Estate Board of New York (REBNY). He graduated from the Cardozo School of Law and is fluent in Spanish.
