Ronald Solarz is an investment sales broker at Eastern Consolidated, one of the New York City areas largest investment-sales brokerage firms. A 29-year industry veteran, Solarz serves as an Executive Managing Director at the firm, and was named a Principal in 2000. Specializing in commercial property and land sales, he joined the firm in 1994 and is responsible for more than $6 billion in transactions throughout the five boroughs. Significant transactions Solarz has arranged include the $210 million sale of 240 East 27th Street, the 99-year net lease for a 200,000-sf residential development site at 170 Amsterdam Avenue and the $125 million land sale of 160 West 62nd Street, a 400,000-sf residential development site. While at the firm, he has arranged more than 90 development site sales.

Solarz is a five-time recipient of CoStars Power Broker award, and has been named a Commercial Broker All Star by Real Estate Weekly, a Top Broker by Real Estate Forum, a Hot Broker by Commercial Property News, and a Top 50 Deal Maker by Real Estate Weekly in 2005 and 2009. He was also named Broker of the Year at Eastern Consolidated twice, in 2003 and again in 2006.

Solarz graduated from the State University of New York at Buffalo Management School with honors and is a member of the Real Estate Board of New York.
