4 World Trade Center
New York, NY 10007
Office, Leasing/Rental

4 World Trade Center is an office skyscraper and part of the World Trade Center building complex in Lower Manhattan. At 974 feet, the building stands where the original nine-story 4 World Trade Center formerly stood before it was damaged beyond repair during the attacks of September 11, 2001. Opened on November 13, 2013, the new building has 78 floors for a total of 2,500,000 square feet.

The building was designed by Pritzker Prize winning architect Fumihiko Maki and cost $700 million to complete. Maki designed the 47-foot-high lobby with polished black granite to reflect the 9/11 memorial across the street. Beneath the tower, a pedestrian concourse leads directly to 11 different NYC subway lines as well as the PATH train. 30% of the towers power comes from fuel cells.

Silverstein Properties oversees leasing in the building. The Port of Authority of New York and New Jersey signed a 30 year lease on over 600,000 square feet of space. It along with the City of New York occupy over one million square feet. Online advertising software firm MediaMath became the first private sector tenant in 2014, signing a 15-year, 160,000 square foot lease. Anticipated bottom floor retail tenants include Tom Ford and Eataly.
