Fifth Avenue Tower
445 Fifth Avenue, known as Fifth Avenue Tower, is a 33-story, 209,000-square-foot mixed-use tower. The property was built in 1986 and has 174 apartment units. Emery Roth & Sons was the architect. Thor Equities, a privately held real estate firm founded in 1986 by Joseph Sitt, acquired three retail condo units totaling 17,000 square feet at the property, at 39th Street, for $32.5 million in December 2011. Wachtel Missry LLP represented Thor Equities in the acquisition of the three retail condo units, with acquisition financing provided by NXT Capital. In October of 2015, Thor sold the retail condo units to Harbor Group International.
