Broker lashes out at blog

A Prudential Douglas Elliman agent has become embroiled in a heated exchange with the blog Bushwick BK. The bizarre back and forth began when the blog posted about a new condo building called Lumbini Garden at 326 Melrose Street and mentioned that links from a Trulia listing to the Elliman Web site didn't work. Bushwick BK posted the emailed response from broker Janet Corona, who threatens to launch an "ugly investigation" and file complaints at the Realtor Board and the Department of State. Apparently mistaking the blog for a rival, Corona writes in all caps: "YOU GUYS ARE IN HEP OF POOP. YOU WERE NEVER GIVEN PERMISSION TO ADVERTISE MY EXCLUSIVE LISTING WITH OUT MY CONSENT OR THE OWNERS. YOU NEED TO REMOVE 326 MELROSE FROM YOUR WEBSITE A.S.A.P."

This has got to be the funniest story I have heard all day. Maybe the stress from the work week made her crazy.....or she was crazy from the start. However you look at it, she is crazy!

there are so many things to blog about why this? people the woman is just doing her job. who knows she may be right? why not pick on those agents that are really doing harm to innocent people. bring on the real stuff!

I am continually amazed by the lack of English skills by Prudential Douglas Elliman brokers. For the most part, that lack is displayed by foreign brokers who come to English as a second language. Now we see that Dottie has found a way to hire actual Americans who can't speak the language.Janet, please get help or find a spellcheck program you can use.The blog wasn't usurping your precious exclusive. Try to get PDE to give you an actual desk and a land line. People can tell you're virtual when you only have a cell number.

Well, I think its safe to assume this woman is representing poorly for the Hispanic community. Agreeing with the previous comment prior to mine, it is inconceivable to even understand why anyone would use such poor, cheap word phrasing as " a hep of poop". I read this and cringed, because this female stands for what most, if not all, minority/females in business try to strive above.

I wonder where she went to school. Maybe Jersey. I guess we should be glad she can spell "poop". I hope there's a husband paying the bills, because someone so ill-equipped won't be able to survive. Usually this type is a hot upper east side wife. She expects to do gangbusters in real estate. What she doesn't take into consideration is that guys see her ring and don't patronize her, as there's no chance of sleeping with her and women find her threatening and prefer ugly older brokers. Types like Janet Corona used to be almost exclusively at Citi-Habitats, but I guess PDE is fine with this kind of character.

Is Dottie Herman so out of touch she has no awareness of this? If it were Corcoran, Corona would be gone. This is basically another Jennifer Cristafulli. Dottie watched THAT blow up in her face after featuring her on the website, only to see her kicked off of THE APPRENTICE for an anti-Semitic remark.
