 Brooke Astor's 778 Park Avenue co-op
The late Brooke Astor's duplex at 778 Park Avenue, between 73rd and 74th streets, is back on the market with Stribling & Associates' Kirk Henckels, and is listed at $29 million, which is $17 million less than its original listing price with the Corcoran Group's Leighton Candler. Candler, who lost the listing last month, put the co-op on the market at $46 million last May, and the price was later cut to $35 million. The 14-room apartment has five bedrooms, four and a half baths, six terraces and five fireplaces. [Cityfile]

It's only $2 million per room. Sounds like a steal.
