George Herbert Walker IV
George Herbert Walker IV, President Bush's second cousin, paid $13.95 million for a townhouse at 6 East 10th Street in Greenwich Village.
Walker became a partner at Goldman Sachs at age 29. He raised enough money for his famous cousin to earn the rank of a Bush Pioneer.
"I'm very proud of my family, but I don't talk about them," he told the Village Voice in 2003. "That's not something that is going to make our clients money."
After serving as the head of Goldman's Hedge Fund Strategies, Walker left in 2006 to become head of Lehman Brothers' $188 billion Investment Management Division. He lives at 45 Greene Street in Soho.
The 7,000-square-foot, seven-bedroom townhouse at 6 East 10th Street has a swimming pool and an elevator. It had previously been divided into separate apartments.
The sellers, Anthony Oldfield and Jennifer Lister Oldfield, bought the century-old building for just $7.5 million two years ago.

This article has several egregious factual errors as well. Completely incompetent.

I don't see any errors and I am good. The problem must be with those conservative eyes ALPINE.

The article seems to have been edited since I posted my comments. The 4th paragraph originally stated the following: "After serving as the head of Goldman's Hedge Fund Strategies, Walker left to become Lehman Brothers' the global head of its $188 billion Investment Management Division in 2006. He lives at 45 Greene Street in Soho." Notice the words "the global head" which are out of place and do not belong in this part of the sentence.

Very valuable information, especially his home address. Any idea what hours he works and what the security code on his building is? The link says the previous owners have plans for a pool. What makes you think there is one?

HUH?
Wow, what a gripping story. A guy bought an expensive home. If that doesn't have you on the edge of your seat, get this -- a five year old quote where he says he doesn't talk about his family. Fascinating. Surprised a competitor hasn't picked off Mr Pincus to do breaking news. What might we get tomorrow? Derek Jeter's address and a quote about his favorite 3rd grade snack?
