Corcoran advises homebuyers to visit prospective neighborhood at night
December 16, 2008 05:30PM
On a segment of NBC's Today Show this morning, the Corcoran Group's founder, Barbara Corcoran, discussed questions buyers should ask when hunting for a new home. Corcoran said you should ask the broker why the person is moving and how long the unit has been on the market to determine how eager the current owner is to sell, and if you will be able to get a good deal. She also suggested looking in a home's closet to see if the floors are hardwood or plywood, and visiting the neighborhood at night and on weekends to get a sense of the area.

Barbara is looking like a genius for selling that company when she did and not getting into development like some other people we know.

Also, asking what type of underwear the seller is wearing, could give you an indication as to, "is this someone I can do business with".
