Dolly Lenz, Bracha Group take Elliman's top honors

Left to right: Ilan Bracha, Christine Blackburn, Tamir Shemesh
Left to right: Dolly Lenz, Efraim Tessler, Sachiko Goodman
Left to right: Ilan Bracha, Leonard Steinberg, Tamir Shemesh

The Bracha Group, which split twice in the past two months, won the top group based on the number of transactions and gross commission income (GCI). Dolly Lenz, who has been making headlines for losing listings, won the top individual broker by transaction and GCI, as she has for the past several years.

In the top group by transaction category, Bracha's group was followed by the Barak/Blackburn Group, the Shemesh Group, who won the top award last year, the Sukenik Group and the Jacky Teplitzky Team, which won the top group award based on GCI last year. Bracha's runners-up in the GCI category were Leonard Steinberg's team and the Shemesh Group. Teplitzky's team fell from number 1 last year to number 9. Teplitzky was upset last year that she didn't win the top broker award.

After Lenz, the runners-up in the individual category by transaction were Michelle Mizrahi and Robert Nicoletti. In individuals ranked by GCI, Efraim Tessler and Sachiko Goodman were Lenz's runners-up.

what is so bogus about this is Lenz has any number of people under her, she just doesn't call herself a group.

I wonder if Bracha will still make this list next year, now that half of his group has left him?

who knows, but good for them, awesome that they are making money and doing deals. I am sure it took them time and effort to build a steady stream of business

What I like about Elliman, very different from Corcoran, is that all of their top people are young go-getters. All of Corcoran's top people are oldies.

#8- I agree. Anyone who's worked with him or knows anyone who's worked with him or who's worked with any of his team members or former team members will stay away. Glad to hear he's sweating- karma's a b!tch.

I heard that Dolly and Bracha are considering a merge? Does not make sense to me, but you never know in this climate. Seems like they all should consider such mergers. How many listings can there really be that will attract real buyers - no hype.

I really doubt that Bracha will be on for next year...he is hardly ever in the office , and without Sporn etc his agents are no bodies.

Shemesh is the real winner. Bracha won only because he teamed up with number 6 from 2007. Lets see how they all do in 2009. New faces will emerge.
