Dolly Lenz loses Cipriani listing
February 11, 2009 10:00AM
Dolly Lenz
According to the Observer, Dolly Lenz, Prudential Douglas Elliman's vice chairman, is no longer selling the Cipriani Club Residences at 55 Wall Street. Elliman's Raphael De Niro has been the main broker for the building for over a year, and although the 106-unit condo's Web site says it is 90 percent sold out, Howard Lorber, Elliman's chairman, said the true figure is closer to 70 to 75 percent. Lenz has also recently lost listings at the Manhattan House and Miraval Living, as first reported in The Real Deal, with Corcoran Sunshine taking over sales at both buildings.

If no one is buying units, isn't losing a listing a blessing in disguise? Now she can sit at home and not sell units instead of sitting in a sales office and not sell units.

Wow! I'm shocked that a developer and/or marketer would lie about units sold....

She is not the type of broker who is going to hustle for a New Development. She needs to be handed listings with buyers.

Oh, well. Dolly is watching Oprah every day after running in Central Park in the morning. Now she is cooking too. Her favorite place for lunch at 57th Street, Christal Restaurant, is closed. The other day she burned her hands when she was trying to fry an egg.

# 6 is sooo correct. When Lorber and Herman cook the books to give this creep Lenz the # 1 award, I'm hearing there's going to be an exodus from that oderous company. Who cares, the residential brokerage community in NY is finished.

She has made so much money that she can retire. But these greedy people always want "more and more."
