In an interview with Knowledge@Wharton at the University of Pennsylvania, Donald Trump Jr. said he believes the market has not yet bottomed out, although "there are probably good deals to be made today." During the beginning of the downward slope of home prices in the U.S., Trump said New York was largely unaffected because it was still a major financial center and tourists could still buy properties at a steep discount because of the weak dollar. "That was working until just recently ... And again, prices have held fairly stable. But what we've seen is a downturn in velocity," Trump said. [Knowledge@Wharton]

Steep discount when the dollar has gained against the Euro and British Sterling? What planet is he on? The Europeans are gone...he is just trying to help sell Trump Soho, who partnered with Felix Sater (not Satter) a convicted felon with Bayrock, who has their offices in Trump Tower. He should go to work for a real estate firm and pound the pavement showing rentals...that way he would actually learn the business from the ground-up! Then maybe he could make a comment or two.

The Trump kids actually work for a living and they appear to work hard. Good people that are working for the family business. Nothing wrong with that. Better than wasting it all away in nightclubs etc etc which seems to have become the ideal in America exemplified by others with fat family bank accounts.
