Prudential Douglas Elliman, the New York arm of the Prudential network, was named the number one firm out of the 1,940 offices of Prudential Real Estate Affiliates, at an awards ceremony yesterday. The firm's 575 Madison Avenue office had the highest gross commission income, with the 1995 Broadway office taking the second spot and the 26 West 17th Street office in third place.

There were also some familiar names on the parent company's Top 100 Sales Associates list. Dolly Lenz was named the network's number one agent, with the Bracha Group taking the number five spot: the Leonard Steinberg Team finished in ninth place and the Tamir Shemesh Team in 12th place. (See below for a full list of the Elliman agents who made the national top 100 list.)

Lenz also took home the Top of the Rock Award, given to the top sales professional or team in each region, and received the first place Pinnacle award, given to the brokers with the 10 highest gross commission incomes. Efraim Tessler and Sachiko Goodman of Elliman also won Pinnacle awards. TRD

Elliman is a total embarrassment to Prudential in other states- while they certainly bring in a vulgar income, they have absolutely no competence/ethics, and no interest in such. We'll see how they fare in a "real" market.
