Entertainer, schools chancellor buy properties

Actor/musician Justin Timberlake is in contract to buy a three-bedroom Tribeca apartment for $5.25 million. According to Prudential Douglas Elliman, the 3,000-square-foot loft in the Pearline Soap Factory building features a 52-foot-long living room and 14 floor-to-ceiling windows. Meanwhile, the schools chancellor, Joel Klein, is about to close on a $2 million, four-bedroom home in Sag Harbor.
