Eric Trump buys neighboring unit on CPS

Donald Trump's son Eric has bought an apartment for $540,000 next door to the one he purchased in late 2007 in the Trump building at 100 Central Park South.
The younger Trump, an executive vice president for development and acquisition at his father's company, Trump Organization, closed on condominium unit 14F March 24, according to city property records published today.
The one-bedroom in the 14-story building, called Trump Parc East, was listed earlier this year for $649,000 by Garr & Co. Michael Garr, president of the residential brokerage, would not comment on the sale.
City records identified the seller as Fine Living LLC.
In November 2007, Trump paid $2 million for apartment 14D, a 1,353-square-foot unit next door, where he resides.
Trump was not immediately available for comment.

"Whether at some point I combine apartments and have one great apartment on a top floor in Central Park South, I will do that. But for the time being, it would not make sense for me to do that; I just don't need the space," he said. "My plans are to rent it and then ultimately we will see.")

Its a great idea to combine the two units, instead of buying one large unit. I am sure he won't have any problems getting the paper work through to merge the units.

Hi Trump, Why don't you do right for the family and buy a unit in Daddy's Trump SoHo before it goes into foreclosure? Considering there hasn't been a single unit sold in a year, Daddy could use the bucks.
