Veronica Hearst, the widow of publishing heir Randolph Hearst, has reportedly sold two apartments at 4 East 66th Street for $36.5 million. The main 7,200 square-foot apartment has six bedrooms, six-plus baths and four fireplaces. An 800-square-foot one-bedroom staff apartment on another floor also sold. After Randolph Hearst's death in 2000, Veronica Hearst was left with mortgages totaling $45 million. Her 52-room oceanfront mansion in Manalapan, Fla., sold in a foreclosure auction for $22 million earlier this year, below its $27 million asking price. [Post]
