Rapper and New Jersey Nets investor Jay-Z's clothing line Rocawear is opening a pop-up shop in a truck at the Atlantic Terminal Mall to showcase the brand's new line of apparel. The pop-up truck will be parked at the footprint of the Atlantic Yards development between April 14 and May 3, although there is a conflicting report on the brand's Web site that says the truck will be at the Atlantic Yards from April 6 to 18, after spending three days at the Gansevoort Hotel. Norman Oder of the Atlantic Yards Report blog linked the shop's postponed opening to developer Bruce Ratner's sidetracked plans to build the Nets arena. "Is everything [Atlantic Yards]-related delayed?" he wrote. The Real Deal looked at pop-up shops last week.
