Making sense of the rules for selling new condos

From the September issue: Selling New York City new developments to New York buyers is challenging enough, but selling those same units to buyers from outside of New York can be completely confusing when other states and foreign countries have their own laws about buying and selling real estate. The rules for advertising or selling real estate are more onerous in some states, like New York and New Jersey, than others.
