Morgan Stanley exec buys in 15 CPW

A managing director of the real estate department at Morgan Stanley, Guy Metcalfe, paid $9.35 million for a 3,829-square-foot apartment on the second floor at 15 Central Park West.

The five-bedroom apartment, which faces east toward Central Park, went into contract in March 2007. The sale by the sponsors closed October 23, according to property records published today.

In April, Metcalfe sold his co-op at 23 West 73rd Street for $3.9 million, records showed.

He's a real estate investment banker there and had nothing to do with the bad MS real estate investments. But way to smack-talk someone you know nothing about anonymously.

I painted the place and he relisted it for 16.75 million two weeks later and he only paid me 3 million for the paint job!
