Mott Haven polishes its image

Mott Haven has been polishing its image. Part of the polishing includes efforts by the South Bronx Overall Economic Development Corporation, which recently bought a dilapidated warehouse at 130 Willis Avenue -- the first thing people see when they cross the Willis Avenue Bridge from Manhattan into the Bronx. The corporation plans to renovate the warehouse into 23 market-rate apartments to sell. more [NYT]
