NASCAR head buys at 15 CPW

Brian France, the chairman and chief executive officer of NASCAR, bought a 3,100-square foot apartment at 15 Central Park West for $10.6 million.
France bought the 34th-floor unit, with views of the east, south and west, according to property records published today.
In addition to leading the car racing circuit, France, 45, is chairman and CEO of Brand Sense Partners, a marketing firm based in Los Angeles.
Another closing reported today at 15 Central Park West was the 3,100-square-foot apartment 32A which sold for $10.56 million. The buyer was identified as Corolana Property Holding, a company with an address listed in Liechtenstein.
A third apartment that sold for over $10 million also appeared in city records today. The 2,848-square-foot unit 38A, next door to famous producer Norman Lear's apartment, sold for $13.35 million to a company called Coastal Protective Services. It includes a 210-square-foot terrace.
