The Lebewohl family has closed on its purchase of the new site of the famed Second Avenue Deli. In an all-cash deal, 162 East 33rd Street sold for $5.21 million, or $527 per square foot. The building, between Park and Lexington Avenues, also houses seven one-bedroom apartments. The new deli, which opens next week, will seat at least 75 people in a renovated space that was the site of a tapas restaurant. The buyer's name was not disclosed, but the Lebewohl family's purchase of the building has already been reported. The old deli, which closed on Jan. 1, 2006, had 128 seats. Massey Knakal Realty Services represented the seller, while Stuart Rubinfeld, Matel Realty's president, procured the buyer. TRD
